Welcoming James Grundy MCIEEM to BiOME

We are delighted to welcome James Grundy to the BiOME family.

James, who joined the team in June, is an ecologist who specialises in ornithology. He has over 20 years experience, gained through long term voluntary work and eight years as a professional ecological consultant. James has specific expertise in the implementation and delivery of ornithological surveys, reporting and assessment. He has led the ornithology work on a number of complex projects, most recently HS2 Phase 2b. His experience includes pipeline, nuclear, road, rail and 30+ wind farm schemes. James’ work has included pre- and post-construction monitoring and assessment, and has often involved dealing with impacts on sensitive bird species and designated sites. He has also been involved in more innovative ornithology work on a number of projects, such as radio tracking and novel analyses using sound recording and environmental data.
