Bat Surveys to inform Development Projects in England and Wales

2019 was a busy year for our bat ecologists. Our team successfully completed bat surveys/licencing in relation to a variety of projects, including a large scale opencast mine restoration project (underground structures, buildings and trees), a stately home (buildings and trees), post-construction monitoring at windfarms as well as numerous small-scale housing redevelopments.

We pride ourselves on providing concise advice to our clients, enabling them to understand the survey and licensing process from start to finish. But, don’t take our word for it, this is what a few of our recent clients had to say:

Having been asked by Shropshire council to provide an ecology report in relation to the possibility we were sharing our house with bats we contacted Martyn at Biomeconsulting to assist with this and progressing our planning application. We were both really impressed with the service we received from Martyn/Biome. Martyn explained everything in layman’s terms to ensure we understood what he was doing and what needed to be done once our survey had been completed. He kept us fully updated throughout and promptly replied to any questions.

I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a similar survey/assistance
